Mid West Annual Economic Forum and Sponsorship Program
The Mid West Wind Farm Project Team recently attended the 2025 Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Economic Forum, an event dedicated to harnessing the collective knowledge, expertise, and networks of the Mid West region. This year’s theme was “One region. Shaping Our Future Together” and took place at the end of June in the Queens Park Theater in Geraldton.
The summit offered a comprehensive examination of both the drivers and announced investments propelling the Mid West region’s economic growth. The Project Team hosted a booth at the event, where Luke was joined by the Project Community Engagement Lead April Whitehouse and Vestas Graduate Natasha Quirk. It was a great opportunity to engage with a wide audience including industry, government, business collaborators and enthusiastic community of the Mid West Region.
The project Development Manager, Luke Barber, was part of the Energy Panel with Western Power and other key developers in the area. Some of the topics discussed were:
• Opportunities for growth
• Development and attracting investment
• Innovation
• Navigating the challenges
